I went yesterday desperately to my OB to see if he can help as at the moment i have 5 fingers out of use completely and swollen up like sausages
Does anyone know how to reduce inflammation and pain in fingers as driving me nuts - can't sleep with it at nights now

Did the ob bother to check to see if you are retaining water. that was my problem, I was retaining water when I was pregnant and it swelled my hands right up, kept dropping everything. They had me drink a couple cups of tea a day and plenty of water to flush it out. I don't know if that is the problem only other thing is go to the gp and show him your hands and see what he says. What you are describing with your hands is how I started with RA. Went to bed one night healthy and woke up in the morning with extremely swollen fingers. Felt like my skin would split open if they swelled any more and anything that touched them made me cry.
