Roxy, I've had EB for at least 13 years - EVERYone is exposed but if your immune system is suppressed & you have never had mono, you can pick it up & basically get mono - I'd ask your rheumy about it. Mine was active for about 6 months but the titers started dropping when I stared taking prozac - reactivated a couple yrs later, raised the dose of prozac & again it dissappeared! Which came first - the chicken or the egg?!?

Wow Lulu Thanks. I have been in a one thing at a time mode. I have not been able to make plans to visit my girl Holly but I don't want to even consider not being able to hug her again. Right now, I have to get my body straight so I can do anything. I am going to get in the shower soon and hit the rd office. Wish me luck.
