What is a pain management clinic? | Arthritis Information
Alright today i was given scipts for things i am allergic to. I said i am allergic to those. Did not matter. No one has time to think outside the box. But i am being refered to a pain management clinic. Is this a new cure for RA?
Oh i think i will call my Lawyer tomorrow. I was asking for a referal to a reumatologist. Then it was WHO DIAGNOSED YOU WITH RA? This question by a doc that has seen me with more swelling than anyone. And a so called nurse told me that NSAID'S are not anti inflamatories. What does she think the A and I stand for?
Alright i should not travel so much. Well i had to find a good dentist and oral surgen. At least i did that.
I need a place where they have good every docs all in the same spot. And why can't i travel?
Anyone one know of a place i should move to so i could have good docs? Anyway all i have for pain tommorrow is headache pills. Barbituates. Certainly thats better for me than Vicoden. Oh i probably will be allergic to them. I am supper allergic to phenabarbitol. So i hope my throat does not swell up. Everyone wants me to take Ultram i am allergic to it. And NSAID'S I am allergic to them. I mean really allergic to them. Barbituates and Ultram are addicting. So why is that better than Vicoden? So i called my gp in Illinios that may help i will find out tomorrow. This is descrimanation against the allergic.

At least you are keeping your sense of humor... A pain management clinic may incorporate massage therapy, accupuncture, biofeedback, physical therapy or other non-med options as part of your treatment plan. I hope they don't try and pump you full of a bunch of stuff you don't want and can't take. I'm sorry for your troubles.

Sorry to hear of your troubles down there in Florida(?). That sucks!
Definitely give the pain management clinic a try, if you're able. Like GM said, they try lots of different options to help manage chronic pain.
As if you don't have enough to deal with you get an idiot doctor! I yi yi! Hope the pain management center can help you!
