Sorry to hear this PA is no different then the last PA Carrie saw. I sure do hope he will get in touch with ya'll soon. I hope things work out for the good.

Can you get the results from the medical records dept where she had the mri done? If I have it done at the hospital I just have them fax me the results ot if I have it done at the MRI Center I ask them to fax it to me or I go pick it up.

I'm sorry you are being treated so badly. It's hard to believe they can be so inhumane.

The MRI results are very compliccated.They even faxed them to our GP and he couldn't understand them.All I have been told is there are some abnormalities in  2 of her lobes,she has a mild Chari malformation,her ventricles are normal but nothing to explain why she is in pain.

Everyone just saying that Dr. Glazier needs to go over results first before we do something like lowering the pressure in her head.

I would like to know about these abnormalities.

I know if I don't hear from someone soon I am gonna see if I can get Carrie's caseworker to call or even Carrie's pscyh. cause even she said that she notices a difference in Carrie's behavior.

I know that her seizures are becoming more active.I told the nurse for her neurologist about her having dejavus which is a seizure for her.And not even the neurologist is concerned about that or the nurse didn't even tell him.Who the heck knows.

This is how it is when you deal with these big wig hospitals.Especailly teaching hospitals.This is why we left Duke Hospital.I got tired of dealing with the residents and not the dr.At one point when Carrie was at Duke,actually it was her last surgery there,we were taking down names of everyone that came in the room and why.See , she was on a machine called ECMO at birth.It's a life support machine.She was Duke's first girl to be put on the machine.It was very controversial amongst some in the medical community

All the bad things that can happen while on the machine happened to Carrie.She was of interest to alot of people.Especially residents.

Now we are at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem,NC educational hospital to Wake Forest Univ.

I am so rattled.And my recent trip to the pharmacy was no happy event either.They screwed up Carrie's meds. again.Second time in a week. And then one of the tech.'s tried to get an attitiude with me cause I complained that I don't ususally pay anything for Carrie's meds. cause she is on medicaid.Our insurance covers first then medicaid takes over the difference.I wasn't even talking to her but she heard me talking to the lady at the register.See, I use to work at this pharmacy.I know the stress of the job and how people can be very rude but I was not rude ,I had been waiting over 30 minutes for her meds. that was suppose to be ready when i came to get it cuase I called it in this morning.I just looked at her and smiled thinking to myself,she is stressed and me putting her in her place ain't gonna help no one so I just paid for the med. that I wasn't suppose to pay for and I'm gonna wait and talk to my friend who is the lead tech. at the pharmacy and have her explain to me what is the deal.

Am I bitchy or what?
