ok so 3 weeks ago i sent in my information to get approved for free humira for a year.  and they sent the paperwork that my dr needed to fill out 3 weeks ago when i first called and when i was at my drs appt 2.5 weeks ago i reminded him that he needed to fill out those papers and i just called them this morning to find out the status of my application and they said they were still waiting for the paper work from my dr.  ok i know hes busy but come on its been 3 freakin weeks!!!.  It must be nice to be him and not have to worry about how your feeling day to day and how your going to pay for medications  if i was on humira i could get off a couple of my meds.  sorry for going off. had to vent to someone. Oh MY God.  I soooooooooo relate.  You would think they would see how much pain you are in and not be able to not do it because they have a conscience !!!!!!  Vent Vent.  That is what I have been doing.  They say ra teaches you patience.  I don't consider myself a patient person yet but I am getting better at the waiting game.  Jump the hurdles, go through the hoops.  Keep pestering them because I have learned the only way you will ever get the biologics is if you stay on it and never quit.  GOOD LUCK and I am so sorry you found this out.  Call the office every day from now on !

ohh i plan to call them everyday.  I am going to bug them to no end.  i wish they would have the least bit of compassion.  well we'll see what the rest of the day brings if they do it today(not gonna hold my breath though) then gonna call in the morning.

I sure do hope he fills out your paperwork for you.

so just talked to his nurse and she says they dont have the paperwork but they are pulling my chart to see if its in there.  so if its not im going to fax it to them myself.  well we'll see how it goesYou go Shannon.  Stay on it.  I know my rd office has not been truthful with me.  Stay on them.  Be a pain in the butt!!!!!
