prednisone taper/agitation | Arthritis Information

Has anyone had this reaction to a prednisone taper?

I have been tapering for some time but this last drop from 8 MGs to 7 has me not only feeling the normal increased crappiness that I expect to stabilize as it has done historically but I feel very agitated. I don't have any other explanation for it as I don't have anything particularly stressful going on, not time for PMS, etc.

If it's happened to you- how long does it last? I'm even getting sick of myself.

I notice increased aggressiveness during the first couple days of a 6-day medrol pack but I always tend to calm down at the end of the treatment course. bumping this up in case some new viewers can shed some lighthey wannabepredfree when i took 7.5 pred whith a dmrd
i was ok i think.. I'm thinking it's not so much the dose causing it but maybe my body reacting to the taper? My doctor had said that a 1 MG drop sounds like nothing but when you compare it to the ratio you are reducing it by while on lower doses it's very significant.
