Grrr... can't sleep.  It feels like my brain is about to bust out of my headbone (older son's word for skullI've always found that Excedrin which is essentially tylenol aspirin and caffeine seems to work better on a headache than practically anything else. Maybe just an aspirin with your coffee will do the trick. Yea, I just don't want to chug coffee this late at night if I can avoid it.Well hope you get some sleep. Maybe the Xanax will over ride the caffiene and you can sleep.
Well hope you get some sleep. Maybe the Xanax will over ride the caffiene and you can sleep.
It was half of a 0.25 mg tablet (the smallest one)... it has almost no noticeable effects when I take it; it certainly doesn't make me sleepy!  I use it to quiet my erratic heart beat if it starts acting up in defiance of the metoprolol brigade.Oh I think you will feel better after having had your soda. Glad you are getting a bit of relief. Now sweet dreams soon. Hi,

I don't know why this works but sometimes it works well with my migraines.  Add some asprin and maxalon and somehow it seems to push the other medications into working.  Hope the head feels better soon.
malaxon (Reglan here in the States) is prescription-only.  I don't take aspirin - it always gives me a bellyache and makes my ears ring.  After drinking the Coke (2 cans - about the amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee) it really seemed to do the trick!  Within 20 minutes it was all but gone.  The caffeine seems to be keeping me awake a bit later than usual, and I know I'm going to have to go to the restroom soon to get rid of the processed Coca-cola. My migraine remedy is this: I rub icy hot all over the back of my neck and base of my skull. Then I put a cold washcoth over my eyes and forehead. This done as I sit reclined in a recliner- can't lay down- head pounds too much. Swallow some pain relievers first if stomach can handle it without heaving.Yep... Icy Hot (usually) helps a great deal, but last night all it did was give me a greasy forehead and minty fresh hair.
