Boney, ya always gotta make sure that all your doctors know about all your issues and medications.  And as you've seen, your pharmacist is an invaluable member of your medical team.  When at all possible, you should get all your prescriptions from the same pharmacy (or same chain of pharmacies if they're linked via computer) and make sure the pharmacist records any supplements or over-the-counter medications you take on a regular basis as well.  It could save your life.
