Thanks all for the good wishes. I decided not to let the car thing bother me for the rest of the day ( hey its only my birthday once a year) and settled down to enjoy the day. Its been a good one, i had all my family round for coffee and cake tonight, they have just left now. Hubby bought me a new garden swing/hammock for me to enjoy the sunshine ( so now i need the sun) the only thing missing is my son who is still in South Africa but he did phone to wish me happy birthday.
Its bedtime here now and i am officially 44 years young...Goodnight!!
