Hello Shelia,

How are you? I am having a bad day today, rainy and muggy here in Maine and that does bad things to me.... so much pain. Just want to crawl into bed, but can't.

Hope you are having a better day! Take care.

Mindy

Hey Mindy,

Why can't you crawl into bed?Have you got babies to tend to?It is very tough if you have children or you have a job you gotta go to.

Where does your painseem to be mostly?Mine is in my rib cage and hips. But now I have this new problem, sores all over my tongue. Now thats no fun.Hurts to talk.Which maybe a good thing

I hope you have a better day and weekend.take care.
Love,
Sheila

Hi Shelia,

How are you ? Another rainy, muggy day! At this point... what doesn't hurt? This weather hurts my OA in my thumbs, hip, knee and just an all over ache. I recently have had a lot of rib pain too. I went through about a year of intense hip pain..had xrays.. etc Dr could never figure out what is was...was so painful, used to wake me up and walk with a limp.. it is mostly gone now, but does occasionally flare up. I do think it is now OA in there.

Sometimes I can go home and go to bed, but not today. My husband and I own a small real estate company and I run the office, we have a few agents who work for us. So mostly I have to be there, but my hubby is good if he is in the office for the afternoon, I usually can go home. I just HATE the fact that the weather has such a big effect on me? Does this happen to you?

Sores? Yikes!! What could they be from? Hope they get better soon.

 Have a good weekend all!

Mindy

Talk to me about this rib pain. I am having alot of rib pain. My surgeron has been taking off these fatty cysct which sit right under my breast and feel like they are pushing my ribs out of my body. Is this anything like what you are having. My GP tried to tell me it was a floating rib. But I have never been able to come up with any answers on a floating rib thing. But I am interested in what you guys are feeling in your ribs. Let me know. I am going to have them removed on Nov. 3 which will be my 4 time having it done.

Thanks Rhonda

Hi Rhonda,

I just seems to have a constant ache there and my ribs are very sore to the touch..sometimes I get a sharp pain, I call it my heart attack pain, it is usually just under my left breast and last a few seconds, but takes my breath away. I see me Doctor the end of the month and since this a fairly new symptom, I will let her know about it. I never heard of a floating rib or knew that you could get rib cyst either, sounds painful. Best wishes on having them removed. Is it day surgery? Take care!

Mindy

Hey Mindy, No my pain is a painful hurting where the only way to get relief is from holding my breast up off the area. They are just cyst, called fatty cyst that form right under your breast. Non cancerous, so far. Not a flash of pain but constant. Surgery is set for Nov.3. Plus have a hernia on the belly button going to be taken off too. I may have said that already, if so ignore. The best way that I can describe it is, when I was pregnant with my second child she use to put her foot right up against my belly and just push. You could even see her foot under my skin. These feel just like that. Only they don't go away after 9 months.

Would you please let me know about your rib pain too. I am trying to find as much information as I can on this. I just don't know much about it and if you have anything different than Mindy I would really like to hear about it. Hope you are having a great day!
