My wife has RA and is really struggling with the humidity we have here. is there any RA sufferes tht have moved because of RA? and if so did it make a differance?
Hi Forever. Welcome. I don't have an answer for you, but someone will. I just wanted to welcome you and tell you you're a sweetheart for doing this research for your wife. Good on ya. I can not remember where I read this but there was an article about how there truely wasn't a place where people did not suffer. That there were people who were suffering in in the deserts. I would definitely start searching as one article can not be the only opinion. There may be places where it is "better" for people with RA. I did read that High altitudes were a bad choice. That is all I have to share, But good luck in your searchOne thing for sure, it seems that being outside in the sunshine sure helps with my pain. It could be just in my mind or may be the extra natural viamin D that I absorb or some other unknown factor. I would warn that some ra meds warn against sunshine, mtx for sure I think. Anyway, have her get at least 15 mins to a half hour of good old, loaded with natural D and probably a hundred other good things, sunshine. Have her take a sunshine shower everyday. Oh, I guess in answer to your question, I don't know about weather effects, I've heard some say yes and some say no. None of that seems to affect me.Welcome, I live in Wisconsin and the humditity is pretty bad here and makes my symptoms worse. But in all honesty the warmth and the sunshine are better than the dead of winter. I think there are probably problems everywhere, but I do agree that humiditity does not feel good!
I live in very, very arid Wyoming, suffering with RA so I don't think it really matters much.
