It is sweltering here. My husband put an AC unit in our bedroom but he refused to put the units in the rest of the house. His logic is: there is only one more day of this heat wave. YES THIS heat wave but what about the others that will come? I'm the first to forgo AC if you don't need it but this is ridiculous.
I'm heading out to the pool. While I'm in there I will walk around the water and "jog" for exercise. I did this yesterday too. I slept with the AC on in the bedroom. Today is the worst day I have had since I got better. I ache all over and my hands are very stiff. Not sure if it is the water or AC

I wonder why..
This is the second day of the really severe heat in the Northeast. It is the only time in my lifetime I can remember schools having to have early dismissal due to heat. None of the schools have air conditioning and it's just too dangerous to keep everyone there in this heat. It's supposed to break tonight, with severe thunderstorms, and then tomorrow should be much cooler.
I can deal with the heat - I just feel so awful for everyone in the middle of the country dealing with the tornadoes and flooding. My heart breaks for them. I hope the cycle will end soon, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon. So, so sad.
Hmmm Boney, maybe that's it! The heat really affects my RA symptoms.... more than the cold! Here in NC, the heat and humidity have been record-breaking for this time of the year. Hopefully, things will improve a bit.
You could always refuse the leave the bedroom!! LOL
The heat affects me too...It rained here In western ny ...Finally... now the garden is not hard as a rock!!! I hope relief comes to your area soon
