Hi all,
As you will figure from my absence, I'm still feeling good on the Humira so have been very busy doing all sorts of fun things like more work on the farm, and trout fishing after not being able to for 9 long years!!! For those fellow anglers, yes been catching plenty of 4 and 5 lbersHi ,
I haven't had foot surgery but will next week. I have been walking on marbles for close to eight years. The doctor is doing the left foot first as I need my driving foot. He is doing a metatarsal resection and I can not bear weight on it for Two (Long for me) weeks. After that I can bear weight , mostly heel, up to six weeks. Everyone tells me the trick to a faster recovery is keep the foot elevated and iced, non-stop, for the first week.
Midgi,
I was hoping there would be more responses on foot surgery. Thanks for the well wishes on my surgery next week. Both my feet are bad but I chose left foot as I need to be able to drive my daughter to summer camps. I do have heel pain but that's from walking on my heel as the dislocated metatarsal protrude on pad of my foot.
