This is the video of the lake draining in the Dells/Lake Delton.

In the video it shows a house being swept away , there were
4 houses that also went the same way. It's amazing that nobody
was hurt.

Maimi. I can't seem to open it up. I'll go and search it.OMG. How devastating!! I hope no one was hurt. I also hope the family did not have to stand and helplessly watch their house being destroyed. Thanks for sharing that. We went to the lake on Tuesday and it was just amazing to
see it empty, with only a few puddles in areas.
It had a ways to travel to get to the river that it emptied into
like it knew where it was going
People that live on the river were watching the houses and boats
floating by along with furniture and lots of piers.
Now that the lake is empty it is starting to really smell from all the
fish and garbage.
Miami...are you in that area? I am in Madison. It's REALLY bad tonight. We are being hit with horrible back to back severe thunderstorms. The flooding is crazy!
Stay safe!
I saw it on the news on tv. How awful. I wonder if they can pump some water back into it to make it full again?CinDee, Yes they will put it back together again but first they have
to figure out how to fix the area where it busted through the road.
It could take a couple of years to do that.
[QUOTE=maimi]CinDee, Yes they will put it back together again but first they have I believe it is 400 yards. When we would travel on that road you
could not see the lake or the river from either side.
So you know it did some traveling to get where it got.
