I'm up bright and early got to get to the bank, running short on cash (as usual) and will want to do prepare something special for Father's Day tomorrow. Gifts are already purchased but I'm thinking a nice meal since going out is not happening because 2 son's have to work and won't be home.

Then I am going to look at a couple of apartments with my daughter. She is starting a job in the fall that she can't commute to from here. The one she really wanted was rented yesterday
We are working on wedding stuff today as a family.  Going out on a family field trip to the location where her wedding is being held to do some planning for lighting and set-up.  It helps to have a son who is a theatrical lighting designer!

Hope everyone else has a great day!

I got up early so I could finish up work and get home in time to clean up and head out.  We have some graduation open houses to attend.  So free food, sunshine and time socializing.  Sounds like a good day to me :)   Hope everyone else has a great day too!

Beautiful day today - I don't think rain is even in the forecast - Yeah!  Laundry this morning, clean up from grad party this past Sunday, then off to a few grad parties later in the day.  My husband is in Canada fishing, so I'm hoping some friends will take pity on me and let me ride with them to parties - I hate showing up by myself.

Enjoy your day!
I'm up to a beautiful, sunshiny day in here in the northwest.  We're off to my husband's hometown for the Pioneer Picnic.  He hasn't been back in 35 years.  We want to go to the old homestead and then take a drive around the countryside.  LindyI'm at work, UGH! It's a rainy, icky day. Lot's of patients.its rainy.. just hanging out on porch having coffee, doing a teeny bit of cleaning
It's cool and cloudy here, the perfect weather to go to town. We live in the country and it's so hot in town with all the parking lots, soaking up the sun, I never thought I'd use air conditioning in Alaska. DD is having her eyes checked and I have a coupon for free glasses with a year's worth of contacts, then a hair cut for her trip to England with her Grandmother next week, and she says she needs ALOT of stuff for the trip. This will be the last time I force her to do something she doesn't want to do, it's costing me too much money to make her do something for her own good. At the end of 3 weeks she flys back with our oldest DD who is done with her year in Great Britain. She says she's through with traveling, we'll see.We have had a very relaxing day, its my eldsest daughters 20th  birthday today and we had breakfast in bed ( all 4 of us in mine and hubbys bed that is) just laughing about the kids when they were little etc. We all cleaned the house and went to town for shopping and then swimming, my daughter has gone to planet Hollywood in London tonight with her friends( it was a surprise they planned for her) there are 15 of them.Hubby cooked roast chicken and my nephew is here for the evening as his weekend work was cancelled, so hubby and him are in the garden playing swingball. Its fathers day here as well tomorrow, daughters and i have paid for hubby and some friends to go for 18 holes of golf  while the girls cook dinner for us all. The friends know but hubby doesnt yet , we'll surprise him in the morning. Thats about it, enjoy the rest of your weekend everyonefirst i am going sunbathing in the bahamas  Actually Boney, you'll just be sitting on a plane all day, just getting from one place to another, unless you're a 'Jumper'.JUMPER

I went with my daughter and her bridesmaids and MOH to look for dresses for the girls.  Then of course my daughter had to try her dress on to show the girls that weren't there when she bought it.  She's going to be a beautiful bride

Now I'm home and the kids are getting together with their father for dinner at my daughter's place, then they'll be here for supper for Father's day with their step dad.

Happy Father's day to all the Dads here!
Well... looks like I slept thru the pretty nice morning ya'll were talking about. I just slept my day away. I needed it because yesterday I only got 4 hours sleep and I was really really tired and did not go to sleep last night until after 4am. UGH!

Anyways...

I guess the rest of my day is going to be spent working a card and over in-laws house, until who knows when.
I'm working...........the weekend, 2 twelve hour days.  Someone has to care for the patients.I am at my office today trying to catch up on some very belated accounts. As you can see, I am being distracted.

It is meant to be winter here but its 14 degrees. Hmmmmm. And the shortest day is only a week away so wont be long until we welcome fresh asparagus and strawberries.

Off home soon to put a steak and kidney casserole in the oven and I will add dumplings later....rhubarb crumble for dessert. Hang on, there is some leftover fig and honey icecream, might have that too!
I LOVE Sundays and being at home with hubster and the pooches. How come there is only one Sunday a week, we really need to do something about that.
