This weekend Pasadena, CA will be holding its l6th Chalk Festival, largest of its kind. I've never been there but looks good. www.pasadenachalkfestival.com

There's a museum in Sacto that has a similar event -- artists creating chalk art on the sidewalks. Pretty amazing work and fun to watch. Thanks for sharing Jan.

Glad they do this up north, too. Some of the artwork is really lovely. Kids get into the act here according to the site.

Pasadena is a really nice community. They put on the New Year's Rose Parade which I saw one year in person. Love a parade!

I was wondering what was going on up there yesterday. Thanks for the info. Just wish that it was a little bit cooler out for the people walking around there today. The place where it's held is filled with shops and resturants. Nice place to spend your money.
