Hi guys, Liam is still experiencing random fevers of 39.5, spine, knee and heel pain, his eyes are still inflamed and after a rather nasty flare on Thurs, my GP ordered bloods. They came back today and he has an elevated ESR and CRP. His iron levels and RBC's are very low, chronic disease anaemia probably, GP said. She said she is now positive he has AS and JIA, we are seeing his Paed RD on Weds, please say a prayer. Thankyou, hugs Janie.
She also said if he flares like that again, we must take him to the ER, as we could not get his temp down and he suffers from Epilepsy.
Wow there was a show on Mystery Diagnoses about a girl that had a rare AI disease that caused her to have sezures. They had at first thought she had fever convulsions. Actually she did get high fevers. I do not remember what it was called. I had never heard of it before. Janie, I'm glad things are moving forward for your son. I know all this can't be easy for either of you and you will stay on my prayer list till further notice. Wish I could do more. Hang in there, sweetie.Oh janie, I don't even know what to say, other than some prayers, which I most certainly will.
