Joie, Boney, and Others | Arthritis Information

A recent thread got started by DONN, trying to get something going with me. I want to apologize to everyone on the board for any thing I said on that thread, to keep it alive. I realized at one point that it was going bad and quit the thread. I was hoping others would follow suit and not contribute any further to DONNS destructive internet behavior.

I will be the first to admit that I love a great discussion and I have worked very hard to not belittle and berate others on the board. I think recent debates and discussions have gone well and the drama has not been at a level that it was in the recent past. I think all the regulars here would agree with that.

I would like to see the board without personal attacks on the character of any member. It does not matter what color, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation etc we are. We all came here for one purpose and that was to learn about and to support each other through our trials and tribulations with this disease. It also does not matter who has it worse than the other and who takes what med and what med works better than the other.

At the end of the day, we all still have RA. We will always have it and until the cure comes, we are stuck with it.

I would love for our debates to continue as many of us really learn from them and they do offer a bit of distraction for some of our members. But when they turn ugly, that is the time they need to end.

Joie. Your posts are so valuable to every member on this board even if they do not realize it now. Some members may not agree but your information is usually objective and sincere. Please keep posting. I read all of your posts and have actually expanded my reading from what I have learned from you.

Boney Jones. I was not able to read what you had posted as you had edited before I came back on. We all know your jokes and they are always welcome. We can always use a good laugh at times. Please continue to post here.

Please don't let DONN...and my posts drive you away from the board. There is much more good to this board than bad.

If anyone has left the board because of me, I will gladly leave and not return. I would rather people like Boney, Pin, and Joie and others that have this disease bad, to visit and use the information. Lorster, I am really proud of you for this post and your mature response here. Well done.  Yes Lorster, that took guts and I am full of admiration, don't leave.  Janie. I too admire your response.
