Does anyone here have this? If so, who treated it and how? Also, what is the prognosis ?(I need surgery on both hands for carpal tunnel syndrome and now have all the symptoms of TTS,), I didn't even know this existed until yesterday,

Thanks!!
I had this in both feet and was advised by rheumatologist to go to podiatrist.  I now wear orthotics and most of the symptoms went after about 3 months.  I still get pain in my ankles and swelling if I do to much however at least I don't have that horrible feeling in my feet.  Good luck!I am interested to read more about peoples experience with it. My feet hurt the rest of the day if I stand still on them for more than about 10-15 min.I have had it for about 7 years. It is much better now. I was sent to an ortho who advised orthotics which I didn't get because they are very expensive and my insurance doesn't cover them. Also had a nerve study because I could feel my pinkie toe. I also went to alot of PT. I do these excerises where you make the shape of the letters of the alphabet with your feet. I also had tendonitis and a bone spur on left foot. They both got better too but if I am on my feet alot they really throb and swell. The feeling came back in pinkie toe a few months later. CinDee... Do you mean an orthopedic surgeon?

Thanks all for your replies!

Yes, orthopedic dr. He recommended physical therapy and orthopedic shoes. He said that sometimes the nerve feeling would come back and the bone spur might disapear and he was right on both. It took several months and my ankle was huge and swollen. I limped around for months but now it is so much better. I still try to "spell the alphabet with my feet" a few times a week to try to keep them limber.
