OT - Bird Show | Arthritis Information

Our flowering crab apple bloomed 6 weeks ago, and now the little crab apples are coming out.  The tree is over 30 years old, and sits in front of the large bay window in living room.  As I sit here reading, I look up to see dozens of beautifully colored birds, having a party in the tree.  There are sparrows, goldfinches, purplefinches, cardinals, and even a beautiful orange oriole invited to the feast.  The shower we had earlier seems to have excited them even more, and my yard is filled with their happy songs.  I love summer! You are lucky to have such a great show at your home!!!!!!!  Wow.

I love summer too! We have a large array of birds that come to our yard for the old trees too. I think they nest there year after year. A sad thing is the township took down an old barn that borders the edge of our property and the barn swallows came back as they have for probably 100 years and there was no place for them to nest.   I don't know where they went....Oh that sounds just lovely.
Hmmmm I am ready for a fireman show myself!!!
Enjoy your seanery and your book.

That sounds so peaceful.  And entertaining.  Enjoy!!

Thank you for sharing such a vivid description. We are given such simple, beautiful pleasures in life and it's wonderful to take the time to notice and appreciate them for what they are. I find birds fascinating and wake each morning to a bit of a fiesta in my back yard as well. Wouldn't it be great if we all woke up singing each morning?
