Yes , It's great to be back , I really missed this place too.

And Yes, there is a shortage of inj . MTX everywhere , since Sept of last year. From what I read the main supplier is out of PR and there was some contamination issures, not sure.

Any how Mon. I was at my Rhemy's and they said to keep asking different Pharm. cause it was starting to come in. But I've asked , my Weis market pharm, and Walmart , and they can't get it

If I can't get MTX to inject myself , I will have to drive 3 hours (1 1/2 hours each way, once a week to get at my doctor's office and I just won't do that, the weather here in the northeast has been awful, the last 2-3 weeks. The dr's office said I just need to be more aggressive with the pharamacy and demand they get it.

I've been doing some research on the web. and came up with this number and name. Mayne Parm. Co. 1-888-606-2245, which I have not had a chance to contact yet.

Let me know if you come up with anything, I'm using outdated Mtx , it expired last month.

Call around to your local pharmacies and talk with the pharmacist. Ask them if they are a compounding pharmacy. If they are they can compound you the MTX - The only downside is that it won't have the preservative. My local pharmacist compounds me two doses and I get them the day that I am going to give one injection and the other dose is good for 7 days so it works out - better than driving to the MD's office
