I have been feeling so bad these last few days.I hurt so much,I am worn out by 3:00,I am nervous and sensitive to sound and jump at everything very easily.I just want to be left alone mainly cause I just feel so bad and I don't want to hurt anyones feelings especially my girls.Right now I have my sweet baby girl( our new puppy Allie) she is sitting under the table and licking my feet. She knows when I don't feel good.Plus I just gave her a good bath, maybe she is just returning the favor.

I hope all of you are doing good.Let's keep in touch.

Sheila

Shelia,

Good morning

So sorry to hear you are not feeling well. What do you take for meds? I had a bad weekend, Saturday I stayed in bed almost all day, but then was up all night. Sunday I tried to do more and had a fair nights sleep.

How old are your girls? Hope you are feeling better today. Stay in touch.

Mindy

I really don't feel any better I feel worse each day.I called Rd today to see if I can increase ultram to 200mg. twice a day and increase sleep meds. too.I am so tired. The more I move the more I hurt and get fatigued.

My girls are 19 and 14.They are my life.

How are you feeling? How long have you been dx.? What is the longest you have ever been in severe pain and had extreme fatigue?I am new to this and it is starting to scare me.

You take care,
Sheila

Shelia,

So sorry you are not feeling better. It sounds like you are definitely in a flare. I was recently diagnosed with the fibro, but had chronic fatigue syndrome in my late 20's and has hospitalized a few times with that. I have really been going through two years of strange pains. I also have OA in my thumbs, hip and now probably my knees.

It is very scary. I remember be so afraid when my arms and shoulders hurt so bad, that I couldn't lift my arms. I called my doctor and kept telling her that this wasn't normal. But then the pain leaves and goes somewhere else. And also just a general feeling of illness and constant pain that moves around. I lie in bed at night and try to figure out where the pain is...I think maybe I am losing it.

Don't give up Shelia, call your doctor, keep fighting. We all care about you and are here to help. Keep in touch.

Hugs!!!!

Mindy

hello shelia my name is Denise IAM NEW to this web site. I also have fibro. At the moment it would be nice to talk to someone with the same condition. When I first started jumping at sudden noises I thought I was going mad but when later seeing it in a list of  symptons I knew it was something else to put up with. My family have many laughs when they are watching me jumping over the slightest things, cinema and theatre outtings are now a nightmare as people sitting next to me jump after I have made them jump. People who havent fibro do not realise what pain and crazy symptons we have to put up with. My tea is ready will have to go will speak to you soon Denise

I too feel worn by 3 so I try to lay down just for awhile and get a quick energy nap. Then I can usually make it till bed time. And then there are the days when that won't even do.

This stuff sucks. Everyday is totally different!

My Dr told me this week that as well as having RA I also have Fibromyalgia. This would explain why I hurt all the time. It is so hard to explain to someone how bad you hurt when they don't have the disease themselves. Some days I just want to stay in bed and some days I have....LOL I am having a lot of pain in my shoulders and arms now and my ROM in my arms is not too good. I went a couple weeks ago to have a FCE and had to do a lot of lifting and for a week after I hurt just terrible.

I think I have been lucky in the sleep dept as I have sleep apnea and use the machine at night and it really makes me sleep well. I would suggest a sleep study to anyone who is waking up a lot at night. Sleep deprivation does not help when you have a chronic illness.

I'm so glad to have found this site as it is helpful to exchange thoughts woth others in the same boat as I. Thanks.
