MTX & Fevers | Arthritis Information
I posted about this before, but can't find it!
What would you do?
I take my MTX on Sunday nights. My son had a fever of 100 on Thursday, then it broke, and what he has seems to just be a cold with some fatigue and fever. Not too bad. I had an unusual amount of energy yesterday, I did some walking on the treadmill today, and feel fine overall, although I have a scratch in my throat and I'm super sleepy. But that's nothing unusual.
I took my temp: it was 99. Skip the MTX? I have my bloodwork this week, so I hate to get off track. I only thought to take my temp because my son had a fever a few days ago.
Thanks!
I believe my RD told me it is normal to have low grade fevers just because you have RA.Ok, thanks! I was going to take it anyway but that makes me feel better. I just gave notice at work so my work will probably dry up anyway, and it should be a pretty slow week. If my 3 year olds whiney behavior predicts how annoying this bug is, I'm in for it...still sitting in with him, until he goes to sleep~Hope you've been washing your hands a lot and not touching your eyes. nose or mouth....my nickname is Disinfecto.
Good luck with not catching the bug and having the patience to wait out the sandman!
I know I should keep hope alive but my 3 year old ended up sleeping in our bed last night...it's always nice when he rolls over and sneezes right in your face! I can tell my lymph nodes are a bit swollen but I feel well enough so hopefully it will be on its way soon!
