I HATE Rain! | Arthritis Information

It has been raining here and I am all swelled and not doing so well RA wise. I cannot wait for my next infusion to get here. This is the pits!

I went to wal-mart today... the people greeter asked if I needed an electric cart. I told him "No, not today." And slowly crept off.

I hurt was hurting so bad when we got home. I took 2 ultracets as soon as I crept thru the house and had hubby get it for me.

I am not sure what is wrong with my right thigh/hip area. It is worse this time around. Now my thigh muscle twitches, before it was only the muscle on the side of my knee. I have limited ROM once again. I am not sure it is fibro. But I have noticed my fibro gets worse when the ole RA is running amuck again.

I have been feeling a little better since starting back the 40mg of Coreg CR. I do not get zombie mode as much, but my pulse is still over 100, but not as bad as before going back to the CR.

I have just been feeling really fatigued for about a few weeks now. I guess because the Remicade has wore off and now the fatigue has gotten worse. I thought it was from my rapid pulse, it could be that too still.

I am just tired of feeling tired.

Abi-Kitty has found a new place to sleep now.... on my dining table on top of a taco bell paper wrap. Yep, she lays on it and then last night I seen her licking the paper. There was nothing on it, but she was licking it like there was something there. Then she laid back down on it. I just left the wrapper there for her to lay on. And that is what she is laying on now, and for about 3 days now.

I am going to go to bed now.
Hope you're feeling better soon Joonie

We're in the throes of winter here - big frosts the past two mornings and another on its way tonight.  Give me rain anyday!!

Fatigue is the pitts.   Sometimes a Berocca drink gives me a wee pick-me-up but it's short lived.   It's about time someone invented something that could give us energy deprived folks a major boost, don't you think.  Apart from steriods, that is!

What other potions do athletes have available to them that might help us?
rain rain go away, come again some other day,  little joonie wants to play, rain rain go away.
Let me know if my little song helped

Hush, Joonie!  We're in the middle of the worst drought in 114 years in western North Carolina.  Yet others are suffering so from excess rain.  Lord, can't we have a little balance please?  I'm with Joonie on this. Every time it just hurts. Allow me to share a poem that my youngest boy wrote in first grade (they had to write a poem about weather):

It is a
rainy day
today.  The rain was
hard, and it was cold.  I was
annoyed.  I was bored,
and I was mad.

(it was originally in the shape of a raindrop)
