My RA has flared
and Im feeling pretty miserable. I've had some success in
controlling inflammation with my diet in the past, but now I want to
cut all all dairy, wheat, red meat and any processed foods. So I
want to eat everything natural and homemade with emphasis on fruits and
veg.
Just wondered if anyone else had tried such a thing and if it had been helpful?

TERESA:
I WAS DIAGNSED IN MARCH OF 2005. I was miserable and ate all raw fruits and vegetables in moderation. It really helped. At first, i found that I had to eliminate the 'NIGHTSHADE" ..now just have it in moderation. Same with carrots. I think our eating habits got us here and now we have to play the elimination game to see what works for each of us. I DO want to share that again, when I ate 100% healthy foods, I did better. I was doing great until i went on a long plane trip and now am suffering again.
Hi All, I have FMS and all the stuff that goes with it.. I was diagnosed back in 1984 before anyone even had heard of it, so I have suffered for quite sometime. But, recently I was introduces to cleansing diets and I cannot believe how much it has helped. The 2 programs I use are, “The Fat Flush Plan” by Anna Louise Gittleman (sp) and a product called Isagenix. I am still doing maintenance of both diets combined and I feel a whole lot better. I just went through some major surgery so I am trying to recover and feel better at the same time. Being on these diets has helped. Unfortunately, like any other diet, it takes a lot of commitment. I fall off and then get my act together and get back on. I do feel the difference. Also if you can find a good naturopath, that is quite helpful. Good Luck to you all ….
