So what's up with everyone? I'm at work- it's slow- I'm bored!!!!!!I am at work.  It is my last week here, then I start a new job a week later.  So I get a week of vacation! I think I am mainly going to spend time with my kids and try to get the house organized.  And see some movies!  I am going to try to be careful not to overdo it though.  I figure I will clean & organize one room each day for 1 hour.  I have 9 days in all!  Yay!  I am going to try to be good about getting up at 6 am to adjust myself to a new schedule.  It has been rough lately, I will get 8 hours of sleep and I wake up still exhausted.  But after 8 hours I have too much to get done, I need to get up!  KatieG2008-07-08 11:02:30I'm at work too. It's one of those slow days here too.   I wish I had a week of vactions cause I would be somewhere on a beach with a cool drink in my hand. Yah wishful thinking I know. But I have plenty of time for dreaming rignt now.I think a lot of people must have taken this as a vacation week.  It is REALLY SLOW.  I guess I can't complain with a free week of vacation though, right? :) Of course I won't be paid for that time, but it will work out!

Let's see, if I could be anywhere else right now, I'd choose...sitting on the beach in the Virgin Islands with a mango daquiri and a great novel.  It has been forever since I've had time for a novel...Oh! One with a Favio type on the cover would be nice.It's been 1 year and 2 weeks since I was on a beach in the Bahamas and I NEED AN ISLAND! I'm currently trapped in the fluorescent jungle, but I am going to make my escape in an hour. I've heard of Punta Cana but haven't been. Is it remote or touristy? My husband keeps threatening to take us all camping.  My idea of roughing it is a hotel with 802.11b wireless instead of 80211.g wireless. arris- are people on vacation nice or grumpy?I am researching houses in California. Looks like that is where my hubby's job will be transferring us soon. Ugh and the schools stink. No good.I just finished laundry and am thinking about starting supper.  Kind of a dull week around here.  We're just spending the summer quietly and then in September we leave for the beach in Mexico.  Sand, surf, parties, fun, margaritas!  I think about it everyday and want to go now, I say, "now".  Lucky you Lin- I'd love to live part time like that!Katie!!! As far as the guests being nice or grumpy - its about 50/50. As usual. Only two months left.

Sometimes you need the ruts.  Otherwise you would have nothing to compare the crazy times with!
