For the first time in my adult life I'm proud of The ViewDidn't anybody have a comment?

Personally, I'm getting really peaved at how women are treated by the media.  Jackie O was 5 decades ago and yet they still expect us to wear a pill box hat and behave like we're wearing white gloves.  I didn't like the treatment of Hillary (even tho I didn't vote for her) and I'm not liking what I'm seeing for Michelle Obama.  Similar treatment has happened to the Bush women in recent years.  I can't remember what Barbara Bushes original focus was going to be - but she switched to 'reading' at the outcry that she wasn't 'first lady like'.  At least Hillary was the first woman to focus on something substantial like 'health care reform' even is she was beat down and almost ruined by it.

Women are 51% of the population and we're still treated like we're 'aggressive' if we speak our minds.  What's up with that?

6t5 -

LOL - but, what did you think of the points?

I thought she spoke pretty well. So did Cindy McCain. Not sure The View will hammer them. I only saw the You Tube stuff. I thought that woman Joy was having the big O when Michelle walked out. Cindy or Michelle is not the deal breaker for me. Barrack and John are. The way Barrack has changed his views in the last two weeks some Dems I know want Hillary back. No, Barbara Walters isn't the hammering type.  Personally, I'm Whoopie's # fan and just couldn't get over her!  I hadn't seen the View personally before.

Like you, she's or Cindy aren't the deal breaker to me.

Just, as a woman, ya got to wonder what's up with the media?  Can they be that far behind the times even if they have a 'liberal bias?'

Pip
P.S.  Did you see the new guy's post with the tick bite?
No I did not .....????
As far as Hillary I thi k she got hammered as much as the others, perhaps a bit more because she was the front runner not because she was a woman
Good, you found him.

I don't know about that.  I didn't see a lot of media coverage on McCain's cleavage.  And nothing at all about his choice of designer.  I mean, it's just not fair!  Armani is Armani and needs to be debated.

They say that McCain has nice plumbers butt cleavage

LMAO, 6t5!

My husband said last night that he thought Obama if elected would be the best looking President we've ever had "Not being gay or nothing" (He said)

I'm not sure what we were watching that was showing all the magazine covers he's been on to date. I gotta admit he's a pretty sharp looking guy.
My opinion is different.

I'm with Lovie.  He's a cutie and definitely had the JFK thing going on.  But that's that's why I'm voting for him.  And I hate that they say women only vote because of 'looks'.  Yea, right!
