Has anyone tried Xango?Airborne?? | Arthritis Information

Hi,  I don't post here often but I do lurk quite a bit and I am glad to have found this site again.  I was wondering if anyone has heard of Xango?  It is a drink made from the juice of some tropical fruit??? or something like that and many people use it for arthritis purposes.  I also know people who swear by it for migraines and headaches and overall energy.  Right now I am taking the 50mg enbrel shot and would never give that up but I just wondered if anyone on these boards has heard of or tried Xango? I think it is kind of expensive (- a bottle).....

There is also a product out there called Airborne that is suppose to ward off colds or the flu when they first start.  I haven't tried this either, I am kind of paranoid about taking other things when I am taking enbrel, but I did end up with pneumonia this year and have not taken an enbrel shot in 7 weeks and I am starting to feel it.

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi

I don't know anything about the products you mentioned but, have you had the pneumonia vaccine? If not, ask your doctor about getting it. Its a killed virus vaccine so people who take immune compromising drugs can get it. It lasts for 7-10 years, depending upon who you talk to.

I get a pnuemonia shot every five years. I did get phuemonia once, my dr said that the vaccine only works on the viral type, not the one that you get from bad colds and/or bronchitis. I didn't know that there was 2 types. Now when I get a cold, I start antibiotics right away, and it  doesn't become phuemonia (so far).
