You Know why I seem happy, despite I did not get my Remicade infusion and probably will not for a few months?

My mommy gets to come home in a couple of days!!!!!

She was suppose to come home today, but she had irregular heart beats and they are giving her a drip to correct it and because she did not do her inhale thingy to test her lungs. But if her heart beats go back to normal after that drip, they will give her meds to help keep it that way and then she can come home!

I talked to her tonight and she sounded like her old self. Which was GOOD! She actually talked many sentances before inhaling. I am just happy she sounds like her old self and not how I saw her when I visited her last.

Just thought I would share my WONDERFUL NEWS! Wonderful! Such wonderful news Joonie. Many blessings to you both.
Thanks, Mike... hope you & fibro are getting along these days.

I have decided, that I will be happy to let my mom "go" when she is nearing 100, by then I will 50-something and probably ready to kick the bucket myself.

I told my hubby the idea, and told him she can go when she is 100, and that same night my mom said she was living to a 100. See there! I know a few things!Glad to hear that your mom is doing so much better.  It is so hard when our loved ones are hospitalized.

Now....take care of yourself :)
Thanks you guys! I will be much happier when she gets to come home, she will be at my sisters house for a couple of months, even though mom thinks she is going to only stay a couple of weeks. My sister said she was staying with her until the dr makes her let mom go home LOL!

So... I will get to visit her more often with her only 10mins away and in the same city!Oh June-bug...sorry to here your mother's been ill. I don't get on much anymore so I'm sorry I didn't know sooner. I pray she heals quickly and you have many, many more years together. I hope you're feeling alright with all the stress. Take care of yourself! great news joonie. Her being 10 min away is wonderful! you guys will get to spend a lot of time together.woohoo!  Make sure she takes it easy but still gets up and about.  She's got lots of work ahead of her! I found the picture I was looking for that hubby said he did not know where it was at, but later when I asked, he said he knew where it was. That is what I get for asking a question while he is playing football on the PS2.

This is me & my mom (73 at the time, now 74) at my SIL's wedding last September. It is a picture of a picture... I did not feel like fooling with the scanner, as hubby's desktop acts weird with it.

You guys both look beautiful!  I am so glad that she gets to come home soon!  She looks like a great mom.Glad your mom is recovering well and coming home!I haven't been able to post much lately but wanted to say I am glad to hear your mom is doing well.  I'm sure you will be thrilled when the hospital releases her.  Hiking_galJoonie I am kind of a newbie here still finding my way around, but I have been praying for you and your mom. That is a great picture Joonie. You can  certainly see the resemblance. I am truly happy your mom is doing better and coming home soon.   That is great news. You had super IV of predisone too didn't you Joonie? That will make you feel better too doesn't it?
