Seriously considering, any advice | Arthritis Information

I have mild rosacea - one of the treatments i can get for this from the doc is minocycline - the antibiotic that they are always going on about on the road back thing - i'm considering getting this for the skin thing in the hope that it might help the ra thing but i'm worried about this - has anyone any input?

Thanks so much everyone for 'hand holding' me through this - sorry
is no one taking minocycline for ra? Not me Julie.  Sorry.julie- i looked online for information on it and everything im seeing is saying that it is only for fighting infections.  If you think you have RA i dont know how thats going to help you any.  I think you should follow everyone elses advice and see an internal medicine doctor.  Just go in there tell him these are the syptoms im having what do you think it is. Im sure he'll run more blood test, but like everyone said he'll be able to help you find out whats wrong.  Hang in there hun.  Things will get betterwe dont have internal medicine docs in the uk i don't even know what they are here but i don't think they exist
There's a site called the road back which is all about mincocycline for ra and the American rheumatology place thingy says that it is now being used and it seems to work.  oh, who knows.
How old is the story? I had read about this maybe 10 years ago and hadn't heard much about it since. It may have been one of those fad things like eat more ginger, drink more green tea etc. no it's definatley on the american rheumatology site (thingy) and a few others check minocycline treatment for ra - there's quite a lot on it - apparently some dr brown dude first spoke about it (the road back website ) but his research was disregarded because it wasn't a double blind, plus minocycline is already generic so no money to be made, but rd's have been researching it and apparently it does work and its starting to be used - not sure if it's any good for everyone, that's how i was wondering. - had to laugh at the green tea - its comming out of my ears.  that was ears, btw LOL

There were a couple people who have been using this form of treatment, and were liking the results, but I don't know if they are still here.  Try under the alternative therapy subject maybe they are posting there.  meme
