Remicade | Arthritis Information
Hi all,
Just talked to my doc, he got the MRI results back from my right hand and says he is very concerned about joint erosion shown and tendon swelling. He also still says I have Dupuytren's (the cyst on my palm) He wants me to start Remicade. I actually told him I wanted to research it more and we could discuss on 7/30 my next appt. could anyone tell me how often you get these treatments and if they have worked for you? Is it done in doctors office? I know I should have asked him these questions but I really want to hear from you guys on your experiences; ie, does it work pretty fast, side effects, anything? If you dont mind telling me I would appreciate it.
There are a few people on here that take remicade and there have been a couple of discussions on it. You should do a search and read through them. I've been taking it for 2 years? I can't remember right now, and my dr feels it's working, but I have alot of damage from all the years when these kind of drugs weren't available that I still have pain and it can't reverse damage that has already taken place. I don't have any side effects other than I know when the next appointment at the infusion center is due.
