I go in for the TEE | Arthritis Information

Thursday I get to go in for the TEE. I just got off the phone with the heart Dr's office. They are going to do the recommendation of a TEE (TransEsophageal Echo), that my neurologist sent to my GP.

So, I get to be put to sleep woohoo!

Looks like I am going to have to cancel my GP appt for that day LMAO!Joonie,
Playing hookie from my work

I am just hoping this will help find out why I have a rapid pulse and high blood pressure.

I just read up on the procedure and looks like they will be going down my throat and into my stomach to get a view of my heart.

I am glad they will knock me out for it! LOL! It is considered outpatient surgery.

I really do hope this procedure will shed some light. I NEED my Remicade!
Good luck and sweet dreams, Joonie :)Hope they can solve your mystery, Joonie!I will be thinking of you, hopeful for an answer, and envious of a nice nap.  Take care ~~ CathyGood luck Joonie! I'm glad they're putting you to sleep...we do them many times with just a little sedation and it's not something I'd want done without being asleep. Not that it's painful, but getting past the gag reflex is tricky.  :)

Hope they're able to come up with some answers for you!
Good luck on the TEE and I hope they can find some answers and get it all under control. Keep us posted.
take care
