New here with questions | Arthritis Information

I as everyone else here have Ra. I also have Osteoprosis. I can not take the prescibed meds for my Ra. I put me in the hospital with ulcers. The Actonel for my bone density was starting to work but now I can't afford it as I had to quit my job. I just could do it any more as I only weight 82 lbs now. Yes I do eat but not alot. No appetite.

Does anyone know how I could possibly gain weight and does anyone know how I could possibly get Actonel cheaper?

Welcome! So sorry to hear about your health problems. Have you tried checking into the
Partnership for Precription Drugs. The one that Montel Williams is always talking about. They
may be able to help. Also depending on where you live you may be able to quallifiy for assistance with
medical care. Best of luck to you.

Ulcers are very treatable with antibiotics? Did they take you off the meds and treat you? Also, you might look into treating your RA with antibiotics. It's very inexpensive comparatively.

Are you taking and food supplements or those drinks I can't remember the name off hand , but I'm sure someone here will tell you the name?

Has your doctor told you what your stomach can tolerate ?
