Arthritis Information -Newbie from TX

 

Good Morning!  I have RA and Sjogrens Syndrome.....have Remicade infusions every 6 weeks; on mtx, Relafen, folic acid, vitamin D, calcium, Lexapro and Diovan. 

Hello there "old friend"! Looks like a few of us took Lynn up on her offer today - haha. Welcome darlin! Hey girL.....good to see you here too!  Thanks for the warm welcome darlin'! I just found this site, too.  I have both osteo and RA and am on MTX, Orencia and folic acid and B12 with some iron plus Actonel & just 100 mg Neurontin.  Got a virus on July 1 and skipped MTX and Orencia that week.  Due for rheumy visit on Thursday (17) and will find out if I should go for the infusion on the 29th as scheduled.  I did take the MTX last Sunday night. 

Now hubby (who has amyloidosis which causes congestive heart failure) is having trouble breathing on standing AND has to have a blood test on the 22nd for the RA factor (to see if he has it).  One hand is awfully swollen and finger joints red.  Life never seems to be smooth and easy any more. 

I hope to meet some new as well as old friends here.
