Tart cherries have been proven to help fight jet lag because they contain melatonin, which influences your biological clock. Research conducted at the University of Texas Health and Science Center found that cherries contain more melatonin than what is found naturally in your body on a daily basis.

levlarry2008-07-17 18:58:11And they're soooooo delicious.Well I hope I sleep well tonight because I ate a bunch of them this morning and I got a bad belly ache....You know, that's how Zachery Taylor died.  From eating icy cherries and milk on a hot day.  In fact, I think it was at the dedication of the Washington Monument on the fourth of July. In 18 something, I don't remember the year.Does cherry pie or cherry cobbler count? Or chocolate covered cherries? LOLI just ate a pound of local Rainier cherries and I'm sitting here thinking that I might have been foolish.  Have a strange feeling that sleep will be interrupted tonight!!! Love those cherries.Stevie Wonder will now Sing.....MY Cherry Amore........
