What's everyone up to this weekend?
Counting down the hours til I'm outta work today...
Daughter's boyfriend coming for dinner & staying over Friday & Saturday so tonight we'll grill some cornish hens, have baked potatoes, veggie and a salad...
Saturday they have a delayed grad party and I'll probably just hang by the pool with my husband.
Sunday we are having "girl's day out". My daughter, my niece and 2 sisters in law will go see Batman and then go out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant afterward.
Just awaiting my release from my cube in the cell block. Then I'm gonna pick up the kids, and we are putting together a computer for the older boy tonight. Tomorrow we have to upgrade the memory and video card in younger son's computer. One of these days I'll get my desktop upgraded... every time I plan to do so, someone else decides THEY need the upgrade!!!
I'm taking the train into chicago - going to party downtown with some friends. Next Saturday - Cubbies Game - go cubs!Oh sounds like everyone has something interesting planned for the weekend. I haven't made definate plans yet but I think I am taking a break from the kitchen till Monday. My sons are planning all the meals. Yipee! ! My youngest is really a pretty good cook even if he does dirty every possible pan in the kitchen.
I am working today and tomorrow.But on Sunday we are going to visit a friend
who is in the hospital and is having heart surgery on Tuesday. He is just an amazing
person who I pray will come out of this doing great.
I am working for anout hour and 1/2 then have to figure out what to make for dinner, then homework yay!
My youngest brother is getting married tomorrow morning!!Home from work, packed and ready to head to the cabin. Time to relax a little and maybe even catch a few fish.

My daughter is coming up to spend the night and she, hubby and I are going to see our son in Play it Again Sam tonight. Saw the dress rehearsal and it was fun, but it will be much better with an audience. Then spending time working on seating charts, favors and such for the wedding - all the while staying close to the air conditioner, cause it's freakin' HOT~
Wannabe, congrats to your graduate and just wanted to tell you that my son saw Batman at midnight last night and LOVED it. He was blown away by it!
Mom2 - enjoy your meal - I'm jealous. Sure would like someone to cook for me! Reegie, congrats to your brother and enjoy the wedding! Cathy, hope you catch a whopper!
i got a bunch of plans for the weekend, but i'm hurting :( so i may not make it to all of them :(
tonight i have a party at my friend's apartment downtown... i still have about half an hour to make it there.
tomorrow and sunday there are plans for my friend's 21st birthday --- rocky horror saturday night, renaissance fair sunday day.
woo, i'm probably going to sleep in a bit cos the pain from flares suck!

Hillhoney- I didn't know your son was an actor! My daughter is going to see Batman with her boyfriend tonight (he saw it already last night) and then she will see it again with us "girls" on Sunday. That must be some movie! Have fun with your wedding preparations.

want, I just thought that a general what's up with you right now for the weekend thread and here it is.
I am resting, my hubbie is off on Saturday. See my psychotherapist and my once a month FreakMart trip as she is across the street, and there is a signal light.
Recover from my stepson being arrested for a concealed weapon, which was the knife he uses to cut duct tape when up in a hole, installing an A/C unit. He has a license. They thought he was one of these predators down here that are stripping all these empty homes of their appliances, fixtures, pool heaters. It's a mess.
But then I get to help him pack to leave for AZ for two weeks to train in a new restaurant opening, Canadian. We got the permission for him to leave the jurisdiction and his first court date is not for a month.
Whew, I am tired already :) Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend. C
OOHFA Justsay- I'm tired now too! Hope everything works out smooth for you!Not much going on with us. We're golfing Sat. and Sun. BBQ on Saturday evening with friends. I have a book I want to start also an art assignment that I need to begin for next week's class. Hope everyone's weekend is wonderful. LindyDaughter's b-day is actually tomorrow. I have been making threats of no b-day party all week, and well... she knew I could not follow thru with them. BUT! I did not let her play with her Nintendo DS in over a week now! I am getting good at this keeping threats stuff LOL!
So... b-day party and then nothing the rest of the week. Probably sleep.
In the morning, I am helping my bestest friend. We are having a garage sale. In the evening, I get to babysit my daughter's friend's baby boy. His name is Liam and he was born the last of May. His mommy is going out with daughter for her birthday Probably dinner and shopping. I'm excited about getting to keep the baby. It's been a long time since since I took care of a baby. My kids are 15 and 20. I hope we get along and he likes me. LOL
