It has been a few weeks since I have posted. I came down with the flu and then pulled some muscles in my back...that was so painful...it still hasn't completely healed!
I too, was on vioxx and then taken off and put on celebrex...it doesn't work as well for me as Vioxx and I have noticed a shortness of breath when I walk...I was wondering if anyone else on Celebrex has experienced this.

I have taken Celebrex since it first came out. I have never had any shortness of breath that could be attributed to the Celebrex.I take Celebrex, Enbrel and Imuran for my arthritis. I tried Vioxx but it didn't work for me. If it continues you should check with your doctor. I know that MTX caused shortness of breath for me after I had taken it for over 10 years. I had to have pulmonary tests and now I can never take MTX again. The good news was that after stopping it, the shortness of breath went away. Sometimes you have to be a sleuth. Good luck.
