justsaynoemore2009-06-20 07:00:08Thanks for the welcome! I think being assimilated is working well too. My ignore button is big and green and I have it sitting right next to my computer so it will always be handy!

Katie gave me an 'ignore' button so I could post it - but people ignored it and got cranky anyway.  Sigh.

Got to dust that off again!

Can you buy a real ignore button?  Seems like there'd be a market for it.  LOL

Hugs,

Pip
PS - love the Star Trek!
The old Yahoo news boards had an ignore feature, so you would never have to see posts from your favorite trolls.  Gawd how I miss the yahoo boards!!!

I had an EASY button, but I lost it.  Now nothing's easy.
I had an EASY button, but I lost it.  Now nothing's easy.
Well, I want to welcome any and all AF posters to AI.  So far, so good, so assimilation must be working :)  I always like new blood and ideas into a group.  And I have a great ignore button.  Take care ~~ Cathy
When the hell did this become the Borg???? Well, I want to be 7 of 9!

Listen, you pseudogeeks with your Star Wars and Star Trek... it's because of YOU that I can never score 100% on Geekiness tests.  I always miss the Star Wars/Star Trek (is there a difference???) questions, and that knocks down my geekiness.  I get all the arcane math stuff; I've been programming since I was 10, and I go to science (NOT SCIENCE FICTION/FANTASY) conventions for vacation.  But I CAN NEVER BE 100% GEEK BECAUSE OF YOU!!!! You need a crash course in tribbles!
You need a crash course in tribbles!
LOL - you all need a crash course in quantum mechanics, electrical engineering and organic chemistry!!!
Well, I used to watch Quantum Leap all the time, I own an electric train, and I have been known to spread manure!
Well, I used to watch Quantum Leap all the time, I own an electric train, and I have been known to spread manure!
And my boys play Lego Star Wars on the Wii... so I guess fair is fairLook - it's easy.  Just Netflix the entire Star Trek series - all gazillion of them - and have at it for month.  Note things that are humorous - like everytime there's a new engineer - he's dead.  Then get Galaxy Quest.  You're set!

Star Wars are only 6 movies - how hard is that!

LOL - I used to do calculus problems for fun... but English class gave me hives!  I think the only reason I passed the required Freshman English is because the TA had the hots for me!!!
Yeah T&A can be helpful when it comes to good grades!
Yeah T&A can be helpful when it comes to good grades!
But it can work against you too... there were a few professors who could not believe that I actually had a brain.  I guess if you're cute you're automatically a stupid bimbo.  I was accused of cheating on multiple occasions.  Each time, the professor told me that he did not think I knew enough to pass the test.  I said fine, give me another one and I'll sit right here and take it in front of you.  To their astonishment, I got 100%. And keep an eye out for the Expendables.  Every new crew member usually was the "expendable".  It is a talent, takes alot of brains to spot 'em.  Pffttt. Red shirts!!!!!!

DON'T WEAR A RED SHIRT!!! >.<
LOVED Galexy Quest!
