Leeds ( the big specialist place with the rubbish reumy who told me i
was picking my son up the wrong way) called today with some blood test
results- well they replied to my harrassment. I have a
really low white cell count and apparently my rf is negative - anything
over 40 is positive and they said mine was 25 - so how it has came back
weak postive 5 times i don't know. The anti ccp was positive but
the nurse couldn't interpret anymore than that so they have made me
another appointment for 26th october. Other than that, gave
myself a big fat lip today by accidently chewing it (I KNOW) and have
an extra 2 joints in my right hand now added to the list of
horrors. Have been taking borage oil, green tea, wheat grass,
vits, glucosomine (I know, i can't spell) and vitamin e with selinium -
at least it gives me something to do until i get some meds.

Yep. Keep setting up the appointments. Have you started the plaquenil? At least you can say you are doing everything they have advised and it is not working. Plaquenil is very mild. Good luck Julie.julie- im glad that they are doing something about whats going on with you. Go on the arthritis foundation website and there is a 15 page book that you can order for free (not sure if they ship it to the uk but you can try) it gives you a list of some of the vitamins and supplements that you can take that could help and how many you should take. If you cant get it shipped to you let me know, i will scan parts of mine and email it to you or i could make copies and regular mail it to you if youd like... Regular mail? whats that??
