Yeah no kidding!I do call center work from home, so I know that there are legit jobs out there, however it can take a while to get on with a reputable company. I do inbound customer service calls for 10 hrs a week. That's great. I, am at home with my children so I wish I could find something to do from home. Daycare for 2 kids is just ridiculous!Daycare for 1 kid is ridiculous! I have 2 kids, but one is 10 & the other is 3. Oh and to prolong things more, my son (3), will not get to start school until he is 6, because his b-day is after school starts. *rolls eyes*When the boys were little, we were paying about 0/week in daycare at a local Kindercare. They received excellent care, though, and our favorite teacher "followed" our boys as they "graduated" from room to room. They're less then a year apart, so most of the time we managed to get them in the same room. Our boys' last day was also their favorite teacher's last day, and they couldn't stop hugging her. All three were crying. When my boys were little I sent them half days to a nursery school just so they could get around other children. We do not live in a neighborhood.
It is possible to work from home through reputable companies but it does require specific training, certification and usually in house experience with the company in question. I’ve worked at home as a telephonic case manager with some success but only after I had worked in house for the same company and proven my work ethic.
I work from home one or two days per week. I can't do it all the time, as part of my job involves overseeing equipment QA, and I don't have room for all the equipment plus the QA team in my living room.
