I'm home and doing ok, I want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and support, it really helps to have a place I can come to and say what I feel. The doctor answer all of my questions before I went in and talked to me after I came out. She is sending me to the cancer center to see a oncologist, She said she got it all out of the mouth and that it was not in the bone. She wants me to have a pat scam I think she called it, to see if I have it is anywhere else and she wants whatever is on the lymph node checked out. I don't know why she couldn't of answered me the other day and saved me a lot of worring. My granddaugther asked me if she could go to the cancer center with me and I took her up on it, She is a nice sweet person, but will takes no bull when it come to grandma, If they don't answer her she will let them have it.

There's no place like home! Glad it all went ok. How sweet of your granddaughter. I believe Dr wants you to have a pet scan which is a better version of a cat scan.

what a wonderful person your GDaughter is.... you were in good hands!!

Rusty, thanks so much for the update. I am glad all went well and the Dr. explained everything for you. What a wonderful grandaughter you have who is willing to go with you to dr. appt. I am sure she will see to it that they take good care of you.

Woohoo! I love good news!!! Wilma - I am so glad it went better than you hoped, and the doctor came around. I think what she is talking about is either a PET or PETA (frain bog here) scan. High five that grand daughter for me - someone at your side in these situations is critical. And we are here too, and I agree, this is a great place to find support. As you said, it's too bad that she didn't do it when you first asked. It could have saved you a lot of worry!

Great news that she got it all and not in your bones. How old is your granddaugher? She sounds like a wonderful person. I'm so glad she is going with you!

feeling pretty good right, have a lot of swelling in my face and can't eat for a while, but I'm feeling so much better about things, If it is any where else they should be able to find it in time to treat it. She said she was in a hurry becauce it could take a month or more to get the tests done and she didn't want to leave the place in my mouth that long. Daughter works for a insurance place, she said it's very hard to get them to pay for a pet scam, so it may take a while to get it approved, but they will check the lymph node soon. I don't feel sick thats the funny part about it, just have the lousey RA feeling as I call it or like I alway feel. my grand daughter is 28. she was 3 when I got RA and try to take care of me then. stuff like turning on TV, getting me drink, she is special. Which all of them are in their own way. have a great nightI hope your recovery goes well and will be praying that everything else checks out okay!Glad you are feeling good.
