Just a quick question. Can or does Ra affect the nervous systems causing you to shake? My hands shake uncontrollaby. My voice quives when I talk. Trying to eat or put on makeup is ridiculous.

Any response would be appreciated.I have seen parents post about central nervous system side effects from RA meds in their children, but it's my understanding that those are rare.  Have you mentioned it to your doctor? You shouldn't be shaking this badly from RA alone.  You need to call your doctor.  I don't know what meds you're on but some of the meds can have neurological and neuropathy side effects.  Call your doctor.  Lindy
Thanks guys. The only meds I'm on is Actonel, Vitamin D, Iron and fish oil, Cymbalta and Clozapam (for aniety) I hope I spelled that right. I went to my MD and he didn't seem too concered. I see my RA Dr. August 5th, I guess I'll ask him
Thanks again If your RD doesn't have any clue, have him refer you to a Neurologist.  Don't suffer with this unnecessarily.
