Anyone tried this Essaic Tea?
I have been using it for 6 weeks I think I notice a slight difference, to the positive but I cannot say for sure. I notice a better mood and increase in energy.
However.... I have researched it online and there is so much controversial evidence as to wether the 4 herb or 8 herb concoction is the original recipe. Has anyone else had any expericence with this?
Curious minds want to know...

bumping this up to see if anyone has any thing to report on it?Hi there. I've been doing tons of reading and now using flor+essense on my golden retreiver who has a huge tumor in her belly. It's only been a week, but she's eating well and acts happy and healthy. Both essiac and flor+essense are basically the same. The man at the health food store told me the two women who invented this medicine had a falling out and each marketed the same thing. Some swear by it and say it has cured some cancers, some say it has made the last months or years more comfortable. I know it can be used on people and pets. I know it helps to cleanse the liver and other organs. It's like the glucosomine (sp?), works for some, and nada for others. Just be sure to let your MD know what your taking. Herbs can sometimes have a dangerous interaction with some meds. Good luck and let us know how your doing on it. I'll keep you posted on my dog.Hi Monk,
Thanks for the heads up. I am aware of the interactions between prescription meds and OTC/ Herbals. But it is always good to check.
My mom has been taking this tea for 2 months because she is going through Radiation therapy for Ca. of the Throat.
I have been working on trying to get myself regular (Constipation)
One of the ingredients is Turkey rubarb. It is good for constipation.
SO far not really working all that great.Also adding more fiber with Benefiber.
I am still using the tea, and can say that I really don't have much pain even with the drastic weather changes we have had.
We jumped from summer into winter. HOWEVER!!!! I am not sleeping again. and my Rheumy had to snail mail my Rx because my pharmacy doesn't take over the phone calls for Narcotics or sleeping pills.
NYS is very strict about that....
Anyway I digress...
