sugar low | Arthritis Information

 

I was just wondering if anyone has suffered from sugar lows whilst on sulphasalazine meds. Never really felt this before but since I started taking meds at around tea time I start to feel a little shaky, nothing too serious yet though.

Hi Jay, I'm on Sufasalazine and haven't noticed any low blood sugar symptoms.  Depends on how far away your appt. is.  You might want to call and just check it out.  LindySome sulfa drugs are used to treat diabetes, which means they can have an effect on blood sugar levels; you might want to chat with your pharmacist about this if it continues.  Does the problem resolve if you drink some juice, full-sugar soda, or eat some hard candy?
