Has anyone used this supplement and if so....what were the results?

They are produced here in New Zealand and I have read a report online tonight ( NOT from the producers of said product...lol) that states 80% of  RA people surveyed who had used them for 6 months or more had positive results.

My Dad used the capsules for a few years before he had a hip replacement for his OA and he said they helped. Hmmmmmmm, I may try them anyways.

Cheers.....Lyn
I don't think I could get past the name!  Oh the images it brings to mind!!!
I know!!! lolol...sounds dreadful huh?? But I can tell you that they are the most exquisite mussels you can imagine, I eat them at least once a week in various guises. Huge fat gorgeous things.

Actually, your reaction has been common when I have mentioned that name to overseas peeps. Hmmmmmm, maybe the PR people need to change the name??? lolol

I guess it all depends on what your selling them for! When are they going to do research showing the health benefits of pepperoni pizza extract?
Point taken Jasmine!!!  lolol. And I agree, but to prove that Im also silly.... just found this  ' proper ' info on Deer Velvet ( about 1/2 way down page and there are 3 or 4 separate articles...) which is VERY interesting if we care about  our livers. I will most likely give this and the mussel extract a try out.

( the dreaded blue out above. Sigh.....what am I doing wrong huh??
From my research and from taking it myself- it's awesome! It has high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, it's the only anti-inflammatory I can take because I'm on a lot of blood thinners.
I'm not finding a big difference between fish oil and lyprinol (the name that's better than green lipped mollusk) Not familiar with the mussels - AnAudLife is, apparently.  If you want to shop local, doesn't Aust and NZ have bovine transfer-factors that we use over here?  I think the brand is Kal Colsotrum.  Tons of research on that even on PubMed.  If you have leaky gut at all. you should see an improvement within 2 weeks.

Edited for missing 't'
Pip!2008-08-04 07:37:52Tell me how and where to get them.  I'm for anything natural that will save my liver and kidneys!I'm taking it and it is helpful.  Got it at Arthritis Center of Riverside.

I read the title of this post and thought it was a joke. LOL Does it really have green lips? What's a mussel? Is it like a clam? Or an oyster?

Alexa -

If you're asking about the transfer factors - just Google "Kal brand colostrum" and you'll find a lot of people selling it.  If you're asking about the mussels - can't help you.  Also, to protect the liver - use Milk thistle.

Hugs,

Pip
