DO NOT EVER EVER EVER bake apple blueberry crisp in a springform pan, LOL.


I just spent all afternoon cleaning sticky baked on blueberry syrup from inside my oven....that is NOT self cleaning. Ummmm...sounds good though.  oooooh yeah with some vanilla ice cream on top!

Thanks Lorster!!! I think I gained another 5 lbs when I read your post!! LOL Yum! You bake it and I'll clean the mess, but I get all the goodies!It sounds delicious and worth the clean up.  At least it's better than my goof which I put brown sugar in the microwave and just hit any numbers thinking I was going to be right next to it.  Well, the phone rang and you guess it......brown sugar syrup running out of microwave, all over counters, and down on floor.  Yikes. Well, since all the sweet gooey blueberry sauce ended up on the oven bottom, the crisp didn't get all gooey and crispy and sweet and good. It was pretty good with vanilla ice cream though. Oh, I'm such a bonehead sometimes.
