Meteor Shower Early Tues Morn | Arthritis Information

The Perseid meteor shower will be at its peak early Tuesday morning.  If you can stay up late, or get up way early, and can get away from city lights, you can see a fun light show.  This is an easy pastime for an RAer -- involves sitting back in a reclining lawn chair.

Husband and I were sitting on the back patio a week ago Saturday when a meteor flashed and burned out in the sky above the homes behind us (looked like it was there but was miles away)

The colors were gorgeous!!  bright orange red blue flashing across the sky......

incredibly cool...
Did you make a wish Babs?Several years ago when I was cubmaster of 22 boys we had a campout. I didn't know about the meteor shower. I was trying to get the boys settled down for the night and we saw them. It was so cool hearing the boys say "WOW".  Then one parent said he had heard there was a meteor  showers and told us all about it. Some of the boys went to sleep watching but other laid awake for hours watching. That meteor shower saved my sanity that night. LOL I live out in the country and can really see them and it's a clear night. Nice and cool weather down to 58 degrees. I guess since everyone is sleeping, I'll be by myself. Dag gone it! Couldn't see it
