Fluttering in chest | Arthritis Information

I may end up having to go to doctor about this but I don't know...I go back to RD in 1.5 monts so...

I get this fluttering on the side of my rib cage, not quite side of my body, but way over.  For ladies, right about where underwire hits.  It started right about when I started birth control about a month ago but I don't know if that's involved or not-I wouldn't assume it.  It's like a fluttering/vibrating and it happens at random times, while I am resting and not stressed out.  It is always in the same spot.

I don't think it is heart/lungs because you can feel it on top of my rib cage (it's not underneath).  My husband felt it last night and thought it felt like bubbles surfacing in a test tube (I don't know where you can feel that but you get the idea-those were his words)

Any ideas what this could be?

Thanks!!!!!
Oh and it doesn't hurt, I have no pain with itHI Katie,

Your husband's and your comment made me laugh.  I wonder if your underwire or bra strap is pressing on a nerve.  I get that in my leg when I'm riding my horse and realized when I move my leg off of the stirrup leather, the twitching goes away.  It's annoying...maybe shift your bra a little bit (of course when no one in the office is looking LOL)...Hiking_gal
My guess would be gas.I get that and it is gas.  Same flutter, same spot.  It's like a butterfly was in there flapping around.

Heart pains are higher in the chest.  Gallbladder pains can be in the middle of the rib cage and over to the right under the chest bone.

Thanks!!

I've had costochondritis as well. Definitely not that.  The muscle twitching doesn't cause me pain; it's just annoying.
