Hello All,

I still yet have went to the doctors but as of today I have came to the conclusion that I may have a serious issue. I am not sure if it is RA or not since the symptoms I am having are do not exactly match.

About 2 months ago I got a severe pain in my left knee which was diagnosed as a torn meniscus.

After the pain subsided I received pain in my right wrist.

After that pain went away my left thumb became painful in the joint.

Shortly after my right knee became seriously painful in the joint.

After that my left wrist became painful then the right thumb joint.

I then got pain in my right elbow and currently I have pain in my right foot in the joints.

What I seem to be experiencing is joint pain that is constantly alternating from joint to joint. I am 28 years old and in generally good health.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I haven't experienced that but I am sure someone will have some input for you.  I just wanted to say welcome and to remember that ra patients are like snowflakes, no two are the same!!

Welcome to the board.

My RA started like that but after about six months, it became more cumulative instead of migratory.  Palindromic Rhuematism presents with a migratory pattern.  Google it and see what you think.

Yes, that's how things started for me.  Pain started in one joint....then stopped.  Then started in another then on to another.  Mine started in my shoulder, but was told it was just a pulled muscle from working out in the gym.  But later it started in the other shoulder.  It would stop, then go to another joint.  So back to the doctor, who did some bloodwork and found out I had RA.

Do you have an app't set up to see your doctor?

Thank you for the information.... It seems that Palindromic Rheumatism is what I have. I can only hope this is not the case... I will  be seeing a doctor on this asap. Again thank you all for your responses!  Yes started with my left thumb and now it is evreywhere. My hands..both, my ankles, my feet,my elbows, my hips and back. Please see an Ra ASAP!My RA started the same way. It started in the larger joints and was migratory. Now the pain is mostly in my wrists, fingers and feet with stiffness all over. I have read that palindromic rheumatism can turn to RA and I believe that is what happened to me.  Hey Ranquet -

That was my thought - she's Palindromic!  If you have to get any of these 'fun' stuff, Palindromic is the one to get.  Our bodies fight like hell to beat these diseases.

Hugs,

Pip
