Spirit Seeker

He runs the canyons free,

mane flowing with the wind of his speed.

He is strong,

sure footed,

demanding in his nature.

He knows the Earth and

the Spirits that guide him.

He seeks out the highest point

to show his strength and stature.

A king indeed.

He rears his body up

and for that moment in time,

he is one with the Universe.

Another great one !!  Thank you!I hope everyone doesn't mind if I post these. I am just so used to working and now I stay home. It gives me something to do. Thanks Miami!lostpoet, I just love reading your poems every day. I do think that I must have missed yesterday's though. I have just been too busy lately with 2 French boys staying here for this month. But today they went camping with another family and will be back tomorrow.
